Answers before you call dispatch.

Onboarding, claims, pay, and promotion — the questions we get every week.

Getting started
How do I complete onboarding?
Complete each step shown on your dashboard: add payout info, set your payout schedule, pass the background check, and watch the training video. Once all steps are done, you can start claiming jobs.
What is my YLM ID?
Your YLM ID is your unique identifier in the system. You'll need it when claiming jobs and it's how teammates can find you for peer ratings. You can find it on your dashboard and in the navbar on mobile.
How do I upload a profile photo?
Click on your avatar (the circle with your initials) at the top of the dashboard sidebar. A file picker will open — select a photo from your device and it will be saved automatically.
Jobs
How do I claim a job?
On the Job Board, click "View Details" on any available job. Enter your full name and YLM ID to verify your identity, then click "Claim This Job." Your claim will be sent to management for approval (or auto-approved if you qualify).
Why can't I claim jobs?
You must complete all onboarding steps before claiming jobs. Check your Onboarding Progress on the dashboard to see what's remaining. Jobs will appear locked until onboarding is finished.
How does clock in/out work?
Once your job is approved, use the "Clock In" button when you arrive at the job site and "Clock Out" when you're done. You can clock in and out multiple times per job. Your total time is tracked and visible to management.
What does pending approval mean?
When you claim a job, it goes to management for review. While waiting, the job shows as "Pending Approval." Once approved, it moves to your schedule and you can clock in on the job day.
Pay & ratings
How do I get paid?
After you complete a job, management reviews it and approves your payment. Movers are paid the same day that approval goes through, via GoDaddy Payments. You can view your earnings on the dashboard.
How are customer ratings assigned?
Customer ratings are entered by management based on customer feedback after your job is completed. These ratings affect your overall score and promotion eligibility.
What are peer ratings?
After completing a job, you can rate teammates who worked the same day. They can rate you too. Peer ratings reflect how well you work as a team and factor into Lead promotion requirements.
Promotions
How do I get promoted to lead?
Check the "Promotion to Lead" section on your dashboard. You need 1,000 hours worked, 75 jobs completed, a 4.7+ customer rating, a 4.5+ peer rating, a 98%+ completion rate, and a clear background check. Once all are met, a promotion button appears.
What's the difference between Mover and Lead?
Leads (Driver/Lead) have demonstrated consistent high performance. The Lead title recognizes your reliability, skill, and teamwork. It may come with additional responsibilities and opportunities.
